2023 Update

As many of you know, we purchaced this farm as the previous owners had been winding down their Christmas tree business. It was about 4 years behind in planting, but we made an effort to replenish the tree plots. The past 3 years have been so dry that we lost almost all of those baby trees. (Many of which I planted by hand the year John was recovering from his tragic accident and while I was very pregnant with our 8th son.) We have made the difficult decision to not continue as a Christmas tree farm. I will be making wreaths for sale and filling bags of porch pot greens to be picked up by appointment this season. We will be selling garland and spruce tips by appointment as they are available. We will have this year’s mugs from Deneen Pottery available for sale, and I will probably be posting some wood projects made by the boys. I am really hoping to have better accommodations for wreath making workshops by next year, and continue having nature classes for students throughout the school year. Our dream is to provide seasonal events for local families to attend on the farm, to continue making memories and family traditions. We absolutely love utilizing the farm as a place for folks in the community to enjoy together with their loved ones. Please feel free to message us with any questions or comments. Hoping to continue serving you in various ways in the future. 🌲🌲🌲The Tenneson Crew
